Re: Electrical & Saftey Compliance and RCM Certification

Members The compliance issue is resolved and now dead and buried. If you need to discuss compliance talk to the importer or distributor direct about their own products, do it by phone or email. Don't get 2nd or 3rd hand info invariably it is not complete or entirely correct. Captain Although the ab...

Re: Electrical & Saftey Compliance and RCM Certification

From what I can read EMC Man is just trying to get their company name out there and is drumming up business. They do compliance testing. Can I suggest that you delete him as being a spammer. Re: GMG Davy Crockett - Testing

198c I think. Topped with chilli, coriander, garlic, ginger, lime zest butter. A standard of mine but a goody try grilling it nude with just some salt for seasoning. Add all the herbs and spices together and combine with the butter, roll into a sausage shape and let them set in the fridge. Cut 20 m...

Any more info on these? A google search turned up nothing other than a bit on stock feed and I have a near endless supply of grape/skins in the near future.
They were a special from Traeger. Don't know if they are available anymore. They came from the USA.

Re: GMG Davy Crockett - Testing

I've fallen in love already! Only took about 10mins to get to 250C for the pizza. The fill size fire pit really packs a punch. I'm a biltong man myself, though I'll have to try some Jerky some time, did you post your recipe Capt'? I'm in love with it as well. Might even add a section in my Q cook b...

Re: Recently imported a FireMagic 790i - what a grill :)

Thanks Davo and others for the mention of AGA certification. In my other visits here reading import threads that industry body has never been mentioned. I don't want to sound like a dick, but seriously with the US build quality from a company making BBQ's for over 75 years, would you think that suc...

Re: Raw Lurker.

The story that you got from the Galores Salesman may not be entirely true. It is now up to the Franchisee as to if they stock weber. Some country towns Galores stores are big Weber retailers. Galores as a company didn't want to sell competing products to their own brands so no longer have or are get...

Re: Tips for the Weber Genesis E330

The baker stone is designed for use with the lid open. They have a warning saying that it must be used with the hood up at all times. Cheap normal pizza stones work just as good in the Genesis, that's what I use. I have also heard that some just use terracotta tiles. They just generally warm them an...

Re: Another new WeberQ 320 owner

Hi Bear Good to see that you love your Q. Moving the 320 a distance can be a pain at times, your arms need to be about 6 inches longer and the legs on the Q need to be about 6 inches shorter. Depending on the terrain that you have to move it over you could build a little trolley to sit the offside l...
