Re: Aus Post inefficiencies

That's how stuff works. At my workplace, everything we make goes to the distrubition centre in Mentone. If a full time employee orders a carton of powerade, they can't get it from the line or our warehouse, it all goes to mentone then comes back on another truck. But I do get your point of how crazy...

Fire Lighters

See how much postage would be for one from melb to Sydney. I can go buy you one and post it, but it'll depend how much Auspost wants to shaft you for postage, to see if it's worth it?

Re: Just bought a Kettle. All new to me

See those little springy things half way up the legs? Just get something that fits on those. Even an old car wheel hub cap, if it'll fit. Squeeze the springy thing and turn it around or move up and down to suit. You do get some hot bits falling through sometimes, but not much.

Is that all? Sounds easy as to make.
:P
Everything you point out is right. Just never myself realised there was so much to it all.
Great reply.

Shelves. Yay. Lots of places to put stuff. There's never enough table space, so your extra shelves are excellent.

Re: Pop ups on this site

Not getting any with Chrome, but I think I also addded an extra popup blocker to that. So here I am using Internet Explorer, which gets used about once every 3 months, and I got no pop ups at all. Lot of site ads that I didn't realise were there, but no actual popups. Just posting this as feedback. ...
