Weber Q3200 Vs Spirit II E-310?
Hi everyone, I've been living in the UK for the past 2.5 years, and have just returned to Melbourne.. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there was such an active and welcoming BBQ scene over there.. Anyway... Now that I'm back, I'm looking to buy me a new gasser. My last two gas BBQs have been W...

What do you buy from overseas?
Am curious to know what kind of BBQ gear people buy from outside Australia. Am trying to work out a game plan for things to get while I'm still out of the country. Granted I don't live in the U.S. where most of the goodies are - but I figure there must still be some benefits from being on the pound....

Thanks Davo. Suppose I was hoping for a miracle there.. There's a thriving BBQ scene here in the U.K. so hope I can find a seller easily enough....

Thanks Titch.
I've never had a kettle with the sexy ash catcher before, and I've never seen one close up.
Any issues with them as they age?

Is this Performer any good?
Hi folks,
I'm in London. Just seen this ad for a performer. Hard to tell from the photos what condition it's in - but on the surface it looks like a steal at around AUD$80.

What do you think? Worth a look??

BBQ advice - London
Hey everyone, I moved from Melbourne to London a couple of months ago and with spring having sprung the time has come to get some bbqs in my life. I want to get a Weber kettle and a Weber Q gas jobbie. I've owned both before, my only query here is around size. For the kettle, I'm wondering if I'll g...

Re: Goat Shoulder
Grillnoob - have you decided on a plan of attack for the goat portion of your cook? I'm faced with a similar situation.. Tonight I'm planning to cook up to half a kid in the GMG pellet grill. I've seen a few posts here suggesting that you can cook goat the same as lamb. How do you take into account ...

What was your biggest problem as a newbie?
1) Stressing too much about whether a cook will work. This is meant to be a fun, relaxing hobby.
2) Doing too much reading, and not enough actual cooking. Learn by doing.
I still struggle with both of the above.
