Re: BabyQ No Knead Seeded Bread
As I have a few youtubes not sure which one you mean. My stones come from Aldi. The more rectangle one is a round one the MOTH took the sides off. They were cheap at the time and came with a stand and a scraper which I find helps me place the pizza off the board or peel onto the stone and I use it t...

Re: Wood fired pizza dough made with “WILD yeast”
Join in some of the sourdough forums overseas and ask. I had a friend in Tennesse dry and send me some wild starter and also another from Canada. I was successful restarting the US one but am waiting for a while to get the Canadian one moving. I did make some wild sour dough starter at home but let ...

Re: First try at bbq'ed pizza
I got a "scraper" with my stone from Aldi and I actually find it helps slide the pizza onto the stone. As you said the crispy type pizza doesnt neet it for the removal.

Re: BabyQ No Knead Seeded Bread
I shop mostly in Coles so probably got it there. I have a couple, there are no names on them. Another place I sometimes pick up containers is the reject shop. A square one would fit in the fridge better. With the heavy demand for the fridge over Xmas I dumped left over dough into this water one. I w...

Re: Christmas 2011
As we are a small family with only two adult males, 5 adult females, 2 teenagers and four children who virtually eat nothing we keep it fairly simple. This year we have a large leg of pork which the MOTH will cook outside in a large gas BBQ I dont know what kind it is. I will do a glazed ham in the ...

Re: WHAT DID YOU COOK PART~III
Love the sound of that Apricot Chicken. I used up some left over dough and a red apple and made yet another tart. I wanted to see how evenly using a very long tin would work and I was pleased with the result. I also sliced the apple thicker this time and cooked it maybe 5 minutes longer. http://i797...

Re: Weber BabyQ No Knead Blush Apple Tart
Most bread doughs that are called enriched usually contain butter and eggs. This one is not as "rich" as the Brioche one by the same authors. It follows their "no knead" philosophy which I love. This is a half quantity of their recipes which they say makes four pies. The tart is ...

Weber BabyQ No Knead Blush Apple Tart
I needed to clear out the fridge ready for the big day. The dough made for the skillet Apple Pie was enough for two or more. I decided to whip up this one and I like it the best. I just love raspberry flavour and the Anathoth raspberry jam I can now get from the supermarket goes well on it. I left o...

Re: Weber BabyQ Skillet Apple Pie
I dont have any photos of my s....ups. I have only been outdoor cooking since retirement so I don't have a long history of experience. I am good at improvising though :P initially I had many burnt bottoms but usually they could be cut off and the top eaten. My first big failure was using a bedourie ...
