gday nando looking for one myself as a spare theyre pretty handy. nothing at any weber specialist shops here in Perth & im pretty sure weber dont make them anymore. Gumtree probably ya best bet. & too the purists yep i have a couple of charcoal ones as well

Bloke at work today chucked out a Q2200 with the tall thermometer lid full plate & trolley said it doesnt work. So i grabbed it. Does anyome know who in Oerth may service & supply parts for it? Worth havin a go at gettin it goin again.

Na mate genuine,picked it up this arvo only a 37cm i think, gotta run a tape over it 2 be sure though. Had 2 drink a fair bit of JD 2 get my entrys up,not sure if it wouldve been cheaper 2 just buy 1 to be hones! Still tech challenged 1 day i'l get around 2 posting photos

Thanks Yakabot, you may be right. The only time ive seen charxoal briquettes is on American forums with Kingsford etc. Never seen them here, maybe a question for the smokers forum. cheers!

I happened to win a smokey mountain in a BWS promotion, bloody rapt. On reading the book it says lump or heatbeads are not advised, use charcoal briquettes? Where can i find them? or has anyone used heatbeads & had any dramas? Cheers!

gotta few & had a couple, never had a problem. i work in the steel game & i know some people have bought plate to chuck on the top as a portable bbq not a good idea to put a sh**load of heat over a can of butane. use mine all the time for sauces etc with a cast iron pan (not over the can)no ...

well now its out there just wanna say they are good,had a conversion kit i picked up from garage sale sitting around for ages scored an old kettle from vergeside & its come in very handy.

your right Yaka. did that come with the masters kettle? coz i havnt seen them in years would love to get hold of the old warming rack
