E 330 NG
New E330 owner this week. I bought the NG version and had it plumbed in on my deck. Very happy so far. It took me about a year after deciding that i wanted one to pay the outrageous price (compared to the US) demanded in AU. We will be eating from this thing every day, rain, hail or shine, until the...

You will find freight costs out of the US expensive though.

Re: Miserable BBQ Fest did not deliver...
I could not see most of the advertised things happening, no BBQ cook offs, pit masters, no eating competitions, no roaming performers. Is this true? was there none of this? - BBQ cook offs: No - pit masters: No - eating competitions: No - roaming performers: No I was only there from 2:30 to 4:30 ye...

Miserable BBQ Fest did not deliver...
Not sure what the rest of you thought, but i was pretty disappointed by the 'festival' yesterday. Charging $20 for entry, and then giving you nothing for it was turning people away in droves at the front gate. I would expect that the stall holders will think twice about turning up again. The only st...

Re: $500 to buy first smoker, any advice?
I got set up with a MES 30 for a bit less than $500 from mistygully.
Also got an Amazen smoke generator to go with it.
I have not used my Weber Kettle since.
Very happy with the results from the MES.

Re: Weber Aus vs USA pricing, the sad state of play
I also bought one from Amazon last year. Great deal... It does not make sense. The thing was made in China, sent to the US, then posted to me in OZ for half the retail price here. I would always prefer to support an Aussie distributor, but when the price differential is so large it is hard to pass u...

I have been using my Master Built 30 for a couple of months now. Great success with Pulled Pork (neck), Ribs, Christmas Ham, and Bacon. Beef Brisket is next on the smoking list.
