Hi guys, just wondering what's a good brand to use that doesn't burn to ash within 2 hrs, got some bricketts and They recon that they should burn for 8 to 12 hrs? Nubie here so please be gentle lol. Cheers woody.

Hi peeps, don't even have a smoker yet, but was leaning towards a offset maybe, just wondering I'm keen to use wood but is there a unit that you can use for both? Just wondering if the Thermomerters that how with the smokers are reliable or not, if not what's a good wireless or type to use without breaking the bank. Cheers woody. Ps, just wondering if you can get one that you can have in your meat for temp and one to keep an eye on the chamber for fluctuating...
