Hi Laxation Imported rainforest species e.g. Merbau, Meranti that are imported into Auastralia are normally gassed with stuff like Methyl bromide fumigation :shock: http://www.daff.gov.au/biosecurity/import/timber/approved-treatments-timber ,,, I wouldn't not risk it. MM :wink: so is imported garlic!

I'd actually recommend you get your old kettle first and make sure the lid fits to the drum you get. They are different!
I have three different types of open top 44s and the lids are not interchangable. The kettle lid fits on one perfectly, but not the other 2.
