How important are temperatures?
Hi, I was just wondering how important is it to have a certain temperature - give or take - for cooking certain things. For example a 3-4cm steak. Does that require a certain temperature to cook properly? or does hotter = quicker cook, and should I just go off internal temperature of the steak? Usin...

Hi Guys, I've cooked a hand full of bbq's on gas and always struggled with steaks. I'd always go off time, and not off internal heat. Don't think I ever got a good medium-rare. Thanks for the tips. I might stick with the normal grill as I don't really cook with a wok. In regards to the coals, I've seen videos where people put it on 1 side of the bbq to sear the meat, and then transfer the meat over to the half of the kettle that has no coals - so the meat isn't directly ov...
