Re: Everdure 4K
Will do; thanks Davo. At the moment, I'm checking out a few options, but given the son wants a pizza oven, this might somewhat satisfy us both. I've seen it in-store - it's a really solid looking unit, much larger than it might appear in photos. My main query, and a key feature I'm looking for in a ...

Heston's HUB
Anyone got one of these? Any problems with the current model?
I like the idea of cooking with charcoal, and if it heats up quickly, and gets very hot for a good thick steak, I might be a fan.

Re: Ziegler & Brown Grand Turbo
OK, so far I'm keenest on the Ziggy 6 burner Grand Turbo: https://www.zieglerandbrown.com.au/grand-turbo-6-burner-roll-in-barbeque with a double door fridge next to it. That's my current plan (still subject to change). Assuming the Ziggy cooks nice and hot. I find the two hoods a real bonus, as it'd...

Re: Ziegler & Brown Grand Turbo
Thanks guys, they are exactly the types of comments I'm seeking. I do love the idea of the Kamando and I will check out the Yoder too. Am not in any hurry (the new entertainment/BBQ area is still a few weeks away). It'll be important too though (forgot to mention) for the set up to have cupboard spa...

Re: Ziegler & Brown Grand Turbo
Thanks Davo. Yep, we looked at the weber. (We also have a weber family Q at home, an old weber kettle and a small weber charcoal.). Interested in wether the Ziggy cooks better (hotter esp). Quality-wise, the Ziggy seems to come out on top.

Ziegler & Brown Grand Turbo
Hi All Very interested in any comments u might have about this BBQ. Am looking at the 2 x 3 burner (2 separate hoods) version. These BBQs have the RQT type burners (radiant quartz technology ceramic burner with quartz dome combination). Supposedly get real hot. Am interested inheir high heat grillin...

Re: New BBQ and Entertainment area - which BBQ set-up?
Yep, $5k is OK if it gets me a good BBQ, with hood etc, with cupboards underneath, some drawers would be nice too; about 2-2.5m long. What's seen as the top 3 good brands these days for grilling but also roasting with hood down? And you reckon allowing for freestanding BBQ(s) is the way to go rather...

New BBQ and Entertainment area - which BBQ set-up?
All comments greatly appreciated. We're building a new outdoor entertainment area, 5.5m x 5.5m (for furniture) + an adjoining 1.8m x 2.7m area (with dwarf wall along two edges with bench along those two edges + an another adjoining 2m x 2.7m area for BBQ stuff. All undercover. (Think of a 'T' shape....

Thanks Powderdigit. We can't buy many pre-marinated etc foods though as my daughter has certain allergies so most things we have to cook from scratch.

Dough is ready in 45mins. Then you let it rise, either longer in the fridge or less time in a warm location.
