Did you have to fry them off a bit first or is there enough fat in the crackle to make them crispy when you put them on the grill Cheers Craig.

Wollies sell it for 19 dollars a kg if yoy can get it there . My butcher in yeppoon have it for around 12 a kg and has it all the time . Its a great cut cook it really fast or really slow no good for stewing . I use it in beef stirfrys soooo goood
No only aussie butchers i do have a mate who runs a cattle farm though i might try him. Dont see him very often but. They all are charging the same for osso bucco as for a hole shin .
Hi Titch what smoker are you running with?. I got a price from a few butchers up here and they range from 12.50 to 15 bucks a KG . The weight ranges from about 1.5 to 3 kg might just get 1 and see how it goes. Cheers Craig
GEE $6.50 a kg thats great i was wondering how big are they . I am pretty sure that i will be paying more than 6.50 a kg pretty strange cause i live in the beef capital of Australia. i will let you know how i go .Cheers Craig.
