Hi choicebro,
Good stuff mate :) hope the review was helpful.
You will be able to give us a comparison between the Maverick & the Inkbird. Noice.

Re: Inkbird IBT-2X thermometer

Hi Guys, So I've had the thermo for a few weeks now and have to say that I have no issues with it at all. This is my first digital thermometer so I have nothing to compare it to - I don't know if it comes close to a Maverick or Thermoworks but for the coin it's a great piece of kit. As CoraJa...

Re: Inkbird IBT-2X thermometer

Hi Mainey, Yaa im a klutz. Reckon I'll put in a thermo port at some stage just to stop me chopping the wires with the lid:oops: might just put them thru the lid vent to start with. Got a rolled pork shoulder and a lamb shoulder to look at over the next few days. I will give my thoughts on the IBT-2X...

Re: Inkbird IBT-2X thermometer

Hey CoraJase, Glad to hear its working out for you. Unfortunately I can't see your pics.. Mine arrived today but i didn't have time to do anything with it, hopefully in the next few days I can crank it up. What are you doing with your probe wires? I have read a few posts/forums on the issue and I'm ...

Re: Christmas Holiday Cook-ups

Cheers Davo,
I'll keep an eye out for the Yoshida's here in Adelaide, maybe get a mate to visit Costco. As for smoking the snags are you adding any smoking wood or just a plain snake method @ 225 for the hour?

I keep fo...

Re: Inkbird IBT-2X thermometer

Thnx for the reply.
Looking to do the same thing for xmas so was hoping you had time to run it. Work has a nasty habit of getting in the way of bbq'ing :D
Might just have to take the plunge and buy one, keep us informed how your xmas cook goes.

Re: Inkbird IBT-2X thermometer

Hey CoraJase, Welcome, noob here myself. Im also very interested in the performance of this digital thermometer. Some of Inkbird's other products get good reviews (used as brew controllers) so its promising. I need a lower cost option to the maverick or smoke for a weber kettle too. Lettuce snow how...
