Re: Low temperature control for ziggy triple grill

Thanks. That's a good idea. I will try that later this week. I understand what you mean Dave. I have since read people recommending adjustable pressure regulators off eBay and would never go down that path. Just seems like asking for trouble. I'll try the water and Crack the lid open a bit. I suppos...

Re: Low temperature control for ziggy triple grill

I wouldn't think the lid open/vented a bit would matter. I can cook with the lid fully up/open so there isn't an issue of the gas going out. Was just wondering what people did to drop the temps in the hood a bit. I will get a kettle style cooker eventually. Just wanted to check if there was an easy ...

Low temperature control for ziggy triple grill

I did a lamb roast the other day onon my ziggy triple grill. One side burner on low was a constant 150 degrees. I want to try a recipe which calls for 120 degrees. I'm guessing that opening the lid slightly will achieve this? Is there something that people use that can gradually lift or raise the li...

It's really not a problem. I wouldn't even know how to use it yet. I'll keep an eye out from now on. Give me a PM if you find one, or have one you'd like to sell.
Cheers

Cheap Kettles any good to start with?

Hi everyone, Just getting into barbequing after buying a Ziggy triple grill a month ago. I've been looking on here at rubs and other info and stumbled across the kettle BBQ section and the "Low and Slow" cooking method using charcoal and heat beads. I want to give this a crack and was looking at che...

Re: To buy a Ziggy Triple Grill or not

Don't know if you've bought a BBQ yet but we bought the triple grill deal about a month ago. I changed the trivet/wok to the roast baking dish for the same price. The barby before was just a cheap 4 burner and the new ziggy is miles better. Really impressed at how it cooks. I don't know how they go ...
