@ Davo, you made up my mind for me,I've just bought the Q3100, used it once only, and am so far very happy with it. So easy to use.

Never can seem to get the coal level correct either, so start up not the only problem. Guess I'm just not meant to use coal. Thanks though.

Thanks Davo , I'm back to considering the Q...no time to go and look atm though. I'm glad you've answered questions about suitablity for grilling ; veggies ; pizzas ; flaming etc.
