Oh man. My only exposure to Mick's work was his return to the forum in September where he had referenced his illness among some pics of good lookin' food.
Thoughts go out to his friends and family.
RIP Mick.

Who doesn't love a multi-tool! I'd be happy to review one for you.
Also, Cafe de Klos does the best ribs I've ever had in Amsterdam, any chance you can send some along with it?

Re: Cape Grim Brisket vs Fernhill Road Brisket
Wow, what a cook up! Thanks for taking the time to write up the results Waz.
That is indeed one full bbq you had. I can see the briskets on the left, the sheep ribs at the back, but what do you have at the front? Is that a couple of shoulders or more ribs?

Re: Perth Cape Grim brisket group buy
The Beef Shed in Malaga, Ozwaz put me on to them. Some good pork knuckles to be had there as well, the proper cut as well, not lower down the leg like the ones you get from Coventry markets etc.

Re: Perth Cape Grim brisket group buy
It'd be interesting to cook the Cape Grim side by side with the Fernhill Road and see what comes up better. With 50 people coming over I'm sure it wouldn't go to waste!

Re: Big Cook this Weekend - thoughts please?
Keen to see how that brisket turns out. Bought one of those after we had a chat at the speakeasy and whilst the burnt ends from the point were phenomenal, the flat was a little dry due to it being quite lean. Keep in mind I'm yet to experiment with injecting etc, just a dalmation rub and then onto t...

Hey Jai,
I'm a big fan of serving my brisket with collard greens, cornbread and either a potato salad or a coleslaw.
Here's a link, a bit down the page for pics: viewtopic.php?f=41&t=14962&p=145719
