What Did You Cook Part 12 - January 6 2016

Did my first 3-2-1 yesterday! Had found some nice looking beef spare ribs, and had been wanting to give it a go. Kept at around 110 for 3.15 hours, with just meat and a spot of oil. Smoked with wet hickory chips. Then I blended up an apple, with some cider vinegar, salt and brown sugar. Made a boat ...

Slight design change to my performer!

Well, I thought it was cool so thought maybe someone else would like! I called up weber and got one of the new style bbq table tops, as I fell in love with them. Only problem was once fitted.. what do I do with the old one?? Couldn't bear to throw a perfectly good table away, so I did some tinkering...

New weber performer

Haha that's fair enough mate.
Not many have morals strong enough to turn down potentially free bbq things!

Ild be hard pushed for sure haha

New weber performer

On the American forums, quite a few people have swapped them. So hopefully our aus delivery ones are the same. Regarding the split, have you contacted weber Aus? Quite a few people have had their table replaced free by weber, even many years after purchase. Might be worth a go :) Sent from my SM-G92...

New weber performer

Hey all, was in my least favorite bbq shop the other day, admiring their gianormas weber kettle they have (1 off, must be imported - so cool) when I saw the new performer. Really cool bit of kit! They have made some great changes, going away from the plastic to a metal table, the handle has been cha...

Which thermometer

I was also wondering this, as my dog found my et733 to be more delicious then I ever did.

I saw one at bunnings the other day, but didn't seem so great.

Wonder if the 735 app is bug free?

Charcoal brands

Hey guys! Just a quick question for the gurus here. My local big B store has started to stock 'chargrillers' premium lump made from hardwood. 23 for 10kg. Lots of big lumps, nothing really undersized. It dosnt seem to burn super hot, but im pretty sure I just didn't light enough. Got to learn how to...

Hey Chris, do you always carry some in stock or should we contact you beforehand to order in?
10 bags is a bit much for a first try, be good to try one or two first :)

Good to see our options expand!

Mmm if it was bbqs galore you're referring to, I've seen them with their 'sale' prices higher than rrp. I wanted to buy some weber appliances from them and for the 229rrp i believe it was, they tried to charge 259? Running off memory here. And there is alot alot more then that one example. One shop ...
