Let cool and use a nylon bristle from an indoor broom/ handbroom. It’s softer than the brass and shouldn’t damage it. Haven’t done this for y...

Re: reduced heat output from burners
Gday The regulators gradually block up over time. LPG has natural wax in it which can block up the regulator over time and gradually degrade its performance. Replacement hose and regulators are cheap and easy to find. A look at bunnos will turn up a replacement. Be warned the bottle fittings have ch...

Gday JB Well I’m jealous. Being waiting for an air pump cylinder to drop in my lap for years.! Not that I’m a great welder but I’m not afraid to use a flap grinder disk in anger. I’ve done my research the fire box should be 1/3 of the main chamber etc etc…., Yes and I’m certainly aware that if it is...

Re: How to stop Weber Q dripping fat on floor
Gday Yep arrived that week but with work I’ve not had time in the daylight hours to fit it. A bit paranoid about dropping one of this pins in the low light. Today it finally got fitted . That’s a well made piece of kit that’s for sure and fits like a glove. We’ll see how it goes till then the rubber...

Gday
Always had just a mat under my Q. It’s doing it’s job in not getting the deck boards greasy but retains water underneath. Thought what the heck and just ordered one for the family Q

Re: Its Quiet on this Board
Gday Yes I like the kamado but the Weber Q can certainly get you out of the poo in fire bans. The pellet smokers seem to dominate these days. Plug in and dial in the temp. Why not! I was hoping that you would forget the about the electric car bit. Basically who cares. He a cracky old bugger. I start...

Wow, those casters didn’t age well did they. It’s good that you could source a replacement. Which look pretty sturdy as well. Should get another 20 years easy!
How’s the legs and bands holding up? Now that will be a task to refurbish

That’s amazing. Comes with smoker tray and pellets! Dry fryer! Dehydrates temps to grilling temps. Only thing missing is a wok but I could live with that

Gday Well I got the acorn junior to 120C put the tube on and pre warmed it. Lit with a blow torch shut the lid and it went out. 3 times I gave it a go same result. Removed the defector. Raised the temp to 200C and tried again. Same result went out every time. I know this tube can work. Use the same ...
