It's about both prolonged burn and temperature control. Basically a low maintenance cook.

Personally, I don't like the flavour of heat beads, but it certainly works.

Airflow might be a concern. Do you plan to install some sort of rangehood/extraction to prevent the ceiling or underside roof structure from going black, greasing up etc?

Many Aussies have you (and other feedback providers) to thank for these inclusions to Weber's products.

Well done Pierre.

Really depends on your tastes. I like to use a very simple seasoned salt that I make myself, see below. But keeping it simple, (table salt, sea salt, what ever you have on hand) allows the flavour of the meat to come through. Seasoned Salt 1 cup salt 1 teaspoon onion powder 1 teaspoon garlic powder ...

Well done faded.

Very sad state that Weber, crying out for a decent cook. Fancy being built to do a job and not given opportunity for 15 years.

I think it's a One Touch Platinum

I can't comment on the Ziggy, but I can on the NG. I have had NG for my gasser for 8 years and I wouldn't change it. I have had the WeberQ 320 for 18 months and love it. I never need to be concerned about refills, and in the time I've been using NG i could buy second mini WeberQ 100 for portability ...
