Re: Pork shoulder for pulled pork
OK, so just so I am clear, you put the pulled pork( once cooled) into ziplock bags, put it in the fridge and the next day heat a pot of water to 60 degrees and place the ziplock bags into the pot and warm.. for how long?
Also do you sauce it before putting it in the ziplock bags or after?

Re: Joes BBQ - Silverwater
Hey , Good news, was down at Joe's BBQ earlier this week, they are open and in full swing. Appears the BBQ Factory bought them out when it originally went into liquidation. They wanted the floor space and had to buy the business and building as one. I told the manager that everyone here wondered wha...

Re: My new outdoor build...
Came up trumps.. cover is going to become important as you ant to use it more and if the weather is not great you will be out there with an umbrella. I can visualise a frame that runs across the back of the merbau running across the top of the BBQ and shortened joists coming out over the top covered...

Re: Thoughts on Weber Summit E660
Personally I think the Summit range is over kill, the Genesis is bang for buck but if you are going built in then the Genesis will probably not be suitable although I built mine in. I had a 6 burner and initially was worried about real estate but now with a 3 burner and sear station I wouldn't bothe...

New Weber Matertouch - Smoke from under the lid...Normal???
Yes it is normal for smoke to appear under the lid, yes it takes time to start heat beads with fire starters suggest you get a chimney and a portable gas stove for fast starts. Yes you can reuse the heat beads , I have a bucket and toss them in there and shake off the old ash

Re: BBQ Lighting
Was just down at Bunnies and was looking at lighting and saw this http://www.bunnings.com.au/gasmate-bbq- ... t_p3180443 it is adjustable and doesn't seem to have a set shape in mind for the handle. So as a cheap interim solution I reckon for $20 you should be right

Re: BBQ Lighting
...but I have found the LED light fitting for the Weber E330 to the handle works a treat. It is on the handle and only turns on when the lid is raised and throws strong light Something like this? This is one of the only LED's i was considering... http://www.amazon.com/Grillit-MGL-001-Automatic-Gril...

My new outdoor build...
Any updates ? Been a bit slow with this for the last couple of weeks... Have a 9 week old son so he's been getting a lot of my attention lately. Managed to get all the blueboard fitted with joints filled, sanded and painted. Stainless steel drawers in. Half the merbau screening cut to size and pre-...
