Re: wagyu porterhouse

Yeah I am with Gumb re: the charcoal but maybe use a cast iron pan on the kamado so you get the best of both worlds 8)

Got me hungry just thinking about the question tho :!:

Re: Which cut do I choose?

Thanks for the replies guys :P that is pretty much what I was thinking.

I think I will go with the Forequarter just to give it a try but will also order a Collar Butt just to try myself one day - but will tell the Mrs I have to get both as I am unsure of what cut to get 8)

Cheers,

Which cut do I choose?

Hi all, I was just hoping I may be able to pick the brains of some of our all knowledgeable members :D (Mods please move this if I have posted in the wrong section...). I have a friend who is going to place an order through his work for a BBQ that we are both holding next weekend - we have been prov...

Re: DL Jardine sauce and rub range

I believe that Grill Pro Australia on this forum can help - they have retailers across the country so you shouldn't have a drama locating one. The below link may help: http://www.aussiebbq.info/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=10755&p=114363#p114363 No connection to them myself but I can confirm t...

Re: DL Jardine sauce and rub range

Yeah I have tried it awhile back - I think the Barbaro's Bros. Butchers stock this.

Personally I am preferring the Mad Hunky and the Convict Rubs (when I am being too lazy to make my own ) at the moment but the Jardines is definitely worth a taste

I hope this helps.

Re: Kamado Joe Flexible cooking rack

By flexible cooking rack, do you mean the extender rack - that gives you a second level? Na it's a bit different to the extender, basically this gives you a way to cook directly and indirectly on the Joe...
