Re: Cape Grim Rump Caps

Mate, I am really looking forward to cooking this stuff. I have seen the site about Brazilian cooking and it sounds great, but am wondering about low and slow temperatures for the roast. Don't even think of low and slow. Cut into three and fast hot spit roast. Mop it with salt water using a stick o...

Re: Which thermometer

I was also wondering this, as my dog found my et733 to be more delicious then I ever did. I saw one at bunnings the other day, but didn't seem so great. Wonder if the 735 app is bug free? Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk I recently got the 735. It goes alright but its not without its issues. No...

Re: Fishing boat forum,in Australia

It's not all aluminium and fiberglass. Have a look at a plastic one. I've got a 4.1m polycraft and absolutely love it. Rides better than a tinney and weighs less than glass. The finish on a poly doesnt make them oil paintings but they take a beating without any damage. The 4.5m sounds like its in yo...

Re: Wollongong

Just reviving this one to see of there are any answers out there. My job requires a fair bit of driving all over the place. Up until recently it was all over Sydney. This meant i managed to duck into a whole range of suppliers all over the place. I have now moved down to the Wollongong office and wo...

Re: Council Cleanup

Our mongrel council has changed the clean up to a two a year booking system. No longer do we get to trawl through the suburb looking for hidden treasure. Now there is just random one offs. Goes against the recycling principle just because a handful of nobs don't like people taking home something the...

Re: Momofuku Bo Ssam ( Korean Pulled Pork )

Had a crack at this yesterday for dinner (no photo and yeh I know NO PIC it didnt happen). Came out a treat but similar to Heatnsmoke I buggered the glaze up. I think i may have made it too thick. On another note the child whose job it was to bring Kimchi left it at home so he stopped on the way, co...

Re: What Did You Cook Part 11 - January 1 2015

All this talk recently about Pastrami I had to have a go at it. With only a couple of us home I halved a brisket a couple of weeks ago, cooked one half then corned the other bit http://i1251.photobucket.com/albums/hh559/Davem146/IMG_1265_zpsdybxixje.jpg A few things got in the way so this stayed in ...

Re: u-bute butane grill

I've used a butane single burner for years in my boat. The big issue is being careful with heat transfer. They can get bloody hot underneath I recently went out with a mate for a night session and he pulled out a Ubute double burner. It got the plate well hot and cooked a couple of chops and bangers...
