I think the "where did you eat" idea could be a good idea, as long as it doesn't become a avenue for establishments to promote themselves. CS. I understand that people view, not just bbq, but food differently to you or I. I was just reflecting on my experience that I had at 1 establishment...

We went here for lunch on Tuesday and enjoyed the food and beer. We got 48 wings for $48. We got Franks Red Hot Original, Chipotle Orange and Poppyseed, Chipotle and Garlic Salt, Bacon Cheddar and Chives and the Seasoned Jerked. I had a similar problem the other night. I had bought a nice grass fed MSA rib fillet, sliced it and vac packed them using my sunbeam. Took one pack out of the fridge after 14 days and they were slightly greyish and when I open the bag it took my breath away it smelled so bad. Didn't take my chances...

Has anyone cedar planked other fish apart from salmon? ie, Barra, Bream, etc?
Or does this method only lend itself to salmon / trout?

Cooked this up Friday night and were a big hit with everyone. Very simple but delicious. 1 Kg green Australian Prawns - Shell on (I used local medium Endeavors) Zest of 1 Lime Juice of 2 Limes 2 red chillies, sliced Good slurp of EVOO Mix all together and marinate prawns for a couple of hours.
