I don't know what you guys do with pineapple in WA but in Qld they definitely aren't gay.
Having said that, they should never go anywhere near burgers or pizza.
That is all,

Couldn't agree more. I don't use briquettes or other compressed saw dust fuel for the same reason.
If you're going to go to the trouble of using solid fuel, why wouldn't you want some smoke aka flavour??

Re: Big Steel Keg BSK Wanted - Sydney region

Deano, Can you give us some more details on your technique for using coffee? I've got plenty of green beans (I roast my own), to experiment with. Hey Peter. We've got a few people who roast their own coffee on the forum. I just used lightly roasted beans finely ground to espresso. I dosed it straig...

Smoked a rump cap with some coffee grinds (roasted by my wife - Tanzanian Kimuli, single origin).
Smoked it low for 30 mins and I've just ramped it up (and took a photo).

I guess if your comparing a roadside / 20 buck kettle to a kamado the kettle will win the bang for your buck argument all day long. There aren't many kamado's out on council clean up day! I guess if you were comparing a $700 odd dollar bear grills or a costco with a Performer might be more apples wi...

Sounds great. Do you BBQ your rump cap with the fat side up (the whole time) and in direct?
I have a couple in the freezer and haven't cooked them before.
