Re: Cooking with aluminium

G'day Applegarth,
I think that if you did a search that you'd find there's probably as much opinion for it as against it, it would depend on who was paying for the research.
All the best,
Steve

Re: Aldi 6-burner: convert to natural gas?

I'd say there's every chance that the OP is no longer around, their last post was in September 2015. As others have suggested, to convert from LP to natural gas it isn't a simple job and one left to the professionals. You'd certainly lose any savings you might have made buying a cheap BBQ, as I woul...

I did one a few weeks ago. I didn't trim it at all, just rubbed it all over and straight into the GMG it turned out fine.

Will do cheers. If I survived wife's wrath from buying this without consulting lol
Sometimes it's better to beg for forgiveness than to ask for permission.
After you've cooked up some good feeds for her, the forgiveness part will come pretty easy I reckon

Re: Natural Gas BBQ

G'day Thomas, I guess it depends on how much value you put onto your BBQ. To get it running on natural gas, you'll have to change a few things, which you probably already knew. It will have to be done by a licensed technician/gasfitter to make it compliant with the standards though. This conversion ...

Re: water smoker from alibaba

G'day Kev, a bit hard to completely make it out from the photo, but it looks like the body isn't coated, just the top and bottom. Again, it can be hard to tell from a photo. It would want to be a fair bit cheaper than $200, you can get one from Bunnies for about $270 and it comes with a few accessor...
