Yeah I know, I have been BBQ-ing but have also been very very slack with updating my blog(my excuse is too busy at work so a bit lazy on the net). Some blog entries that will be coming soon:
Pizza stones.. I bought one here in Sydney and had one delivered from Qld (different quality so let’s see how the reviews compare).
Had some good results with ribs (slow cooking really helps) and discovered that 2.5 kg’s barely feeds 4… Also am researching getting another thermapen (with Celisus readings).
So short entry but at least I’m getting into it again.

How are the pizza stones going have you tried them yet Do you use them on the bbq ?
Hi Phil, I used one of them (the one I bought here locally) have yet to use the other one (which seems to be a bit thicker/heavier).
Will post as soon as I used the second one so I can compare.
Yes I used it on my Komodo Kamado (using my guru/stoker I can easily moderate the temp, as high temps (I think) could be a risk when you cook it on a “uncontrolled” BBQ).
