Didn’t cook tonight either, spent some time on the forums (researching brisket), amazingly helpful things forums. I mainly frequent BBQ forums (and one or two photo and gadget forums) but somehow the BBQ forums seem to be a bit friendlier than the other ones (no trolling just friendly banter).

Ah well I’m closer to deciding on how I’m going to cook a brisket and will likely order it via butcher B1; might as well order 2 different meats from them in back-to-back weeks. At the suggestion of someone (you knwo who you are) I’m likely going to start listing all the recipes and temps on this site first in Celsius (as we are in Oz) however I will also list the Fahrenheit temp so nutttin much changes.

I expect to do a lot more cooking when the weather starts to get a bit warmer (current evening/night temps here in Sydney are about 11C (52F) and I don’t find it that enjoyable standing outside. Granted the Stoker and my ET-73 make life a lot easier (with not having to go out on the deck to check the temps). So although I will be updating the blog regularly (with me ranting on about anything) I won’t be having daily cooking adventures.
