I have several BBQ books, however as a start let’s discuss the one I’ve owned the longest: Weber’s big book of grilling. Note that it says grilling not BBQ-ing that says a lot!
This is a 416 page book with a nice introduction about Weber’s in general (well come on it is a Weber book). After this ther are several separate chapters on sauces, starters, beef, pork, lamb, game, poultry, fish & seafood , vegetables, sides & salads and desserts.
I have actually cooked frrom each of these chapters (well okay not the vegetables, sides & salads and desserts) but I intend to!
Each chapter has some general items on the subject at hand; for example the beef section has a “resting and salting beef” page. Obviously each chapter has recipes as well with directions on ingredients how long to cook for and how high the temperature should be.
Yiu’ll find that some of my BBQ adventures will be inspired by these recipes.
If so I will state this…..
Anyway this book get’s a great big thumbs up! (I might amend this blog (oops should I) and add some comments about my fav recipes..
