Happy camper

Postby Lovenutz » Mon Mar 26, 2012 6:49 am

Hi Everyone,
I may be a new member in this forum but I have been a visitor for quite a while now. I have never really had anything constructive to add to the forum so I didn't join up straight away. I guess like all good things, you eventually get there...
I am the proud owner of a KomodoKamado but work keeps my BBQ adventures to a minimum at the moment. This will change in the future and I will add some pictures and information for those of you who are interested.
This is a great forum but don't be shy to check out some others to get some great recipes and tips. Grilling is like a cult in the USA. There is some awesome information out there. See what you can find and share it with us. I will do the same :D

Woo, Hoo....a KK! Welcome, can't wait to see some pics of that cooking! PaulR (The forum owner) has one, but he's a slack bastard and never takes pictures!

Cheers

Thanks for the warm welcome,
It is good to read that someone else rolls with a KK.... one of the big wigs too!!!
KK's are expensive but as Magste stated:
"Komodo Kamado (http://www.komodokamado.com/)
Made in Indonesia
As much a work of art as a cooking appliance. If you can afford the $3300 price tag & don’t mind the 250kg weight, it’s the answer for you."
What more needs to be said???? Oh maybe that they will outlast you...

Here is a photo of my big fella in action.... Please excuse the mess and the fact it is still stapped onto the pallet... It is going to move house again in the near future so it is on the pallet with purpose build wheels for it's current location.
