Rendered Wagu Fat

Post by Macca33 »

Sorry if this is in the wrong place but I saw some rendered wagu fat in Coles today next to the duck fat and was wondering if anyone had used it before?

I was thinking about using it for roast potatoes, can't be bad?

It's great!

Technically it's an oil, not a fat, it has low melting point 25-30C it melts in your mouth! The Smoke point is 180C so a bit low for deep frying, but OK for roasting at 150-170C.

Cheers
