The site manager that I am working with was telling me about his camping bbq he built, once he realized my interest in bbq.

Pretty nifty idea actually, and has got me thinking of building one myself :wink: .

hahaha. When you run out of wood you can cut up some fallen logs

Its a neat idea and a good way to use your expired 9kg gas bottle.....

I am sure any handy person, that can weld will surely be able to whip up one of these "Kevin bbq's" :wink:

Have had this for a few years! A bloke in Strathalbyn makes them for $40! comes handy in caravan parks, as a heater and to boil the kettle! have filled the thing up with pine cones a few times till it glows orange! its main use now is for the chimney starter to sit on top!

I collected a few old cylinders to make one of these, but haven't gotten around to it yet. One day I shall do it!
