The thought crossed my mind, i even thought about approaching the missus and asking her if she wanted to go on a romantic weekend away to take in the sights of the city of churches.
But considering i only got a verbal OK on purchasing a pellet Q after hours of coercing and half a bottle of bourbon, i think i might be pushing it by spending the weekend at the festival
Anyway it was Santa who i was relying on to deliver the Yoder
But i will be using the force i will to conquer my need for a pellet Q
Cheers

I have been smoking meats since I was 15. I'm now 47 year of age or should I say years of wisdom. :-)
I have cooked on many cookers, most of them more affordable units. I cooked on Traeger and Danson pellet pits. I won't get into why I switched for quality and hassle free reasons that I won't get into. For the last two years I have cooked on Yoder cookers. I love them. My Ys640 is rock solid and never disapoints me. The same goes for my Yoder Wichita offset. The Wichita is very easy to control temps and produces exceptional quality food.

After seeing the yoder pellet grill at the weekend in Adelaide all I can say is :-
It is very well made, the smell of the food cooking was great, In my humble
opinion a top class BBQ, one that anyone would be happy to own.
Only thing wrong was that I was there one week early.
If I had known earlier I would be there for this weekend.
Thanks for showing it me Dave

Cheers

In Australia after age 55 you qualify for a degree in life, if you work hard and take responsibility for yourself and others you get a masters degree at age 65, following on from that you get a PhD at age 75,
At 47 you are just a freshman.      Good to see you are working towards your degree,

The optional Grill Grates are simply amazing. The steak that came off impressed everyone at the BBQ Festival.

Hi Rich, yes they look amazing & the thicness of steel Yoder use for the body gives you great heat consistancy. We have one on order for Australia already :D

Im heading to the US this Friday for 2 weeks to catch up with Rob from SmokingPit.com & then onto Kansas to spend around 6 days with Yoder so I cant wait to see one on person.

Cheers,

Dave
