Just picked up this bad boy

Hey Guys,

Long time lurker of the Kamado section. I recently last year joined the Pellet Grill club with a GMG DB.
But didn't like the fact that pellet grills suck at grilling...

Found this bad boy Primo Jr and table for $300. Came with deflector plates and holders, divider and 1 extended rack.
No cracks in the ceramic.

Did a test burn and she seems to get up to temp extremely fast. Only took like 15mins for her to reach 550F.

She'll primarily be used for high temperature cooks, i may test the waters with low and slow but i have my pellet grill for that.

Plans for her is a new gasket and eventually restore the table.

Mate what a pick up.....that table alone is worth more than that....Komado for nix

Top pick up...you should be pretty stoked with that.....just as much as that primo is.

Yeah, she was on gumtree for a while but i wasn't sure if i wanted it or not (even though i know it was a good deal). I really wanted the Primo XL.

Me and a mate a few weeks before that was able to pick up a mint Pirmo XL with the stainless steel cart and accessories for $800... so after that i had my heart set on an XL.

But the Jr is a lot bigger than i imagined. Only ever seen the XLs in real life so I assumed it was as big as those Kamado Joe Jr(which seem extremely small). But the grilling surface area i would say is as big as a Weber baby q. So plenty of room for steaks/snags.
