:D all good Hogsy, just having a joke and in your case I understand your mental condition at the time.
You DID bring your own kettle for a fitting after all
Not as bad as people at Aldi who open boxes, I feel like slapping them on the back of the head ,,, hard and say listen here dip sh$t, have you not noticed one is already open?
I reckon I'd last five minutes as an Aldi worker

Hogsy wrote: I told him how it didn't fit and if they designed it for a Weber Kettle they would sell like hot cakes. He replied with -but jumbuck is their best seller to which I replied the jumbucks are a POS BBQ and anyone who spends under $50 on a BBQ ain't gonna spend $50 on a pizza attachment( apologies to anyone with a Jumbuck)
He ended up telling me to get a refund
So to anyone looking at getting one 'Don't Bother' they don't fit which is a shame because the design is pretty good and they look great.
Well if they designed it to fit the Jumbuck then it's a Big Time FAIL!

Here it is on a Jumbuck!

The Good news is it fits perfect on the Euro Chef (a fantastic kettle!).

Also fits the Cadac perfectly!

My local Bunnings has a big pile of these. When they hit $10-20 I'll swoop, I reckon they could be cut down to fit my 47 cm kettle.

Bought one of these at Bunnings Mile End today... Now being cleared for $20.

Will take the angle grinder to it and make it work...maybe!

I went to Bunnings Castle Hill this morning, and they had a stack of them, but still marked at $35.

I figured if I bought 2, I could cut/shut them with a bit of an overlap to allow bolting them together, and fine-tune the fit to a Weber. At $20 it's worth buy 2 to do that, but not at $35, so I'll wait and see if they drop them further.

They only had 2 kettle style BBQs on display - both with hinged lids, and the ring didn't fit either of them....
Weber Kettle Fanatic....
Main go-to: Blue 57cm OTG
Fire restriction option: Black 57cm M/T butchered with a Weber gas conversion.
GMG DC for the lazy smoky cooks.
Weeknight special: Q200
Problem? What problem?

Turns out it was ultra easy to modify...
Drilled out one rivet at the 'mouth', snipped thru the smallest section of steel opened up the bottom by about 12mm and re-riveted back thru the backing plate.

Not real pretty and the construction of these is on the flimsy side but when i fire her up tonight I reckon it will have been worth the $20 investment and 10 minutes of my time.

Aaahhhh................... Appropriate technology, love it Yamapro. I was having a look at these the other day and I can see that with your solution to making these fit that everyone will have one shortly. Thanks :D
