Good news from Ribolator in the US:
The 22.5 inch version of the Ribolator for the Weber Kettle is now available!
See Brian giving it a test run: http://www.bbq-brethren.com/forum/showt ... ?p=1198840
I will be bringing the Ribolator into Australia in small batches initially, if you want one contact me. The cost is $160 plus internal (Aust Post) postage, roughly another $20.
The Ribolator comes in two sizes:
22.5 inch for Weber Kettles
And the slightly larger version for Gas grills, Pellet and Texas Smokers, will also fit a UDS.
Both are made of food grade 304 stainless steel.
Cheers
Chris

Ribolator
Common Sense is so rare these days it should be a Super Power!
Re: Ribolator
Hey Chris,
I've been to your site a bunch of times, it's really nice. I must admit I'm eyeing up the texas smoker, perhaps we can discuss that a bit later on. For the moment I was curious about the ribolator, I'm trying to mod my Weber Kettle and just wanted your advice. Have you used a ribolator? What I'm wanting to do with it is to slow smoke 2kg pork necks. It seems like it would be perfect but just cautious that they may be slightly too big for it.
I appreciate your thoughts.
Tim.

The necks that I get are generally 1.5 - 1.75 Kg. You can split them lengthways and have one on each rack. This should balance out nicely.
Chris
Does the one for the kettle come with the 6" kettle extension ring or is it just the motor, shaft and racks?
I already have the Weber Rotis just need the racks.
Cheers

Re: Ribolator
Hi Phil and Tim,
The Weber extention ring is an accessory, the Ribolator comes in Weber Kettle size and this also fits a UDS. So, you are right, all you need is the Ribolator itself!
I'm thinking the necks will fit no problem, but balance is something to think about.
Cheers

Re: Ribolator
Holy smokes - how many WSM does Brian have?
I am getting the Kettle Rotisserie soon, with extension ring, for my Weber Performer - just waiting on delivery.
So kindly put me down for one basic Ribolator Chris.
Thanks for the heads up

G'day,
I'm new to the forum but I have been looking for a Riblator, I'm wondering if Urbangriller is still selling them.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all and happy grilling.
