Re: Finding good Quality Beef Rump!!!!At the right price
That's Kilcoy beef from behind the Sunshine Coast north of Bribane - always good beef. Strangely, we don't see it for sale here in Brisbane often. I use P&L Meats on Blunder Rd Oxley in Brisbane. They sell whole (certified) Black Angus rumps at $10 a kilo also pork loin chops at $10 a kilo, chea...

Here is why you should get a thermometer

I bought a Maverick 2 probe remote reading thermometer off ebay from the US, but you can now buy them in Australia I believe. My Weber 320 thermometer reads way too high.

Re: Weber Q pizza query
Well I had my first pizza cook up last weekend. I used the Captain's approach and it worked well. I used Lauke pizza dough mix (1Kg) and that worked well once I used plenty of dry flour on the board to knead the dough. I allowed to rise once cut the dough into 4 and allowed to rise again in separate...

First week with a Q320
Well my second hand weber q320 arrived a week ago and was quickly assembled and put to use. It had only been used three times and the cart was still unassembled, a good buy I think for $400 plus delivery. First cook was tandoori chicken thigh fillets and they didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. ...

Re: Roasting in the Weber Q 320 - trapping juices?
Thank you Phil, you have just resolved one concern I had about the Weber Q - how to make the gravy the family love with their roasts.

Ratatouille on the BBQ
Ratatouille is a traditional french recipe from Provence and has many variations. It is particularly good with grilled or roasted lamb. It is usually cooked on the stove top, but I cook a lazy man's version in the oven/BBQ. The BBQ can give better flavour through caramelization and smoke. A family f...

Weber Q pizza query
Hi I would like to know what the concensus is on the best setup for pizza on the Weber Q320. I am buying a BBQ-EZY sheet. I'm asking because I don't want to go out and buy various accessories such as a pizza stone if I don't really need them. I have been looking at various posts here and elswhere on...

New Brisbane Q 320 owner
Hi I'm waiting for my near new ebay Q320 to arrive next week. I have ordered a Maverick 732 and a meat probe thermometer and am about to buy a BBQ-EZY teflon sheet, so should be good to go by next weekend. I have owned two weber kettles and a weber flat top gas grill for many years and have been ver...
